Kim Kardashian turns 46 today. She celebrated by becoming her 13-year-old daughter.
Yesterday, the SKIMS mogul dropped 18 photos on Instagram captioned simply “Halloween 2026” — and half the internet spent a full minute trying to figure out who they were looking at. The neon blue wig. The goth grills. The faux piercings. The hand-over-mouth pose. The skull necklace, spiked cuffs, and monochrome nail art. It was North West in every single detail. Except it was her mother.
And this wasn’t random. There’s a whole story here.
Last week, North went on TikTok Live and clapped back at the trolls who’ve been calling her signature gothic style “demonic”:
"Stop saying I'm demonic. No, I'm not. Just because I like to dress this way, don't judge a book by its cover." — North West, live with mom Kim, shutting down haters.
Kim, sitting right beside her, added: “I don’t think people really get it, but do you care?”
North said no. And then Kim went and made her feelings extremely clear — by becoming North for Halloween. The post hit two million likes in three hours. First to respond in the comments: Khloé Kardashian.
Twins!!!!!!
The momager herself was right behind her:
This is so fun!!!!!
Meanwhile, the rest of the internet was in complete freefall:
IM SHOOOOOOOK I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST POSTING YOUR DAUGHTER TWINS FORSURE
Imagine having so much aura as a kid that your mom is you for Halloween.
Not everyone was in their feelings about it. The skeptics had thoughts:
She'll even clout chase off her own daughter lol
Two million likes vs. a handful of hot takes. The scoreboard is not close.
Whether you think it’s a mom-of-the-year moment or the most elaborate clout grab in Halloween history, you cannot deny the woman committed. The matching nail art alone deserves an Oscar. North reportedly has no plans to dress as Kim in return — but honestly, at this point, the bar has been set.
Happy birthday, Kim. Nobody does Halloween like you.
